First Citizens National Bank Recognized as Top FirstHome Lender

(Mason City, Iowa)- The Iowa Finance Authority has named First Citizens National Bank a top community lender for their participation in the FirstHome program in 2004. First Citizens National Bank was recognized as a Million Dollar Lender, originating over $1 million worth of FirstHome loans. The announcement was made at the spring conference of the Iowa Mortgage Association. FirstHome is an affordable mortgage financing program for qualified homebuyers in Iowa. The mortgage loans are provided through more than 400 participating lenders throughout the state. Last year, IFA and participating lenders helped more than 2,000 borrowers purchase their first homes. The total amount loaned was more than $150 million. “First Citizens National Bank understands the importance of home ownership,” said Marti Rodamaker, President of First Citizens National Bank. “It’s an honor to help make people’s dreams come true, and we hope to help even more families in 2005.”
