(Mason City, Iowa)- First Citizens National Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Nicola Bleakney as Vice President of Human Resources at the Mason City west location.

Before joining First Citizens National Bank, Bleakney was a consultant in human resource management, providing services to numerous companies, including First Citizens National Bank. Prior to that, Bleakney served as the training consultant and adult education coordinator for North Iowa Area Community College. She also worked with Kraft Foods in a variety of positions, including human resource manager, performance manager, and senior organizational performance manager. Bleakney also held the position of organizational transformation manager for Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids.

Bleakney has both a B.S. and M.S. degree from Iowa State University. Bleakney and husband John reside in Mason City. She is a member of Mason City Noon Rotary and Tostmasters International.
