(Mason City, Iowa)- First Citizens National Bank’s Heritage Club will present a Medicare seminar on Thursday, July 15, at 9:30 a.m. in the Heritage Club room at First Citizens National Bank (2601 Fourth Street SW in Mason City).

The event is free and open to the public. The seminar, presented by the Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP), will help educate consumers on the new Medicare-approved drug discount cards, as well as the “new” Medicare Advantage plans.

There has been a lot of information reported about the program, and it may be confusing. A senior health insurance advocate will be on hand to help sort out all of the news going on with Medicare and help North Iowans become smarter consumers.
