announce the hiring of Greg Nicholas as President of First Citizens
Trust and Investment Services. Nicholas comes to First Citizens with
over 24 years experience specializing in real estate, estate planning
and probate. Nicholas received his B.A. from St. Olaf College in 1977, and received his J.D. from the University of Iowa Law School in 1980. Nicholas is a life-long resident of Clear Lake, and is very involved in the community. He is a member of the Mason City Noon Rotary Club, and has served as President of the organization. Nicholas is a Board Member of the Clear Lake School Foundation, and is on the Board of Directors of International Messengers. Through this organization, Nicholas travels to Eastern Europe each year to teach at a missionary training center. Nicholas is also very active at his church, including serving as an adult Sunday School teacher, a High School Youth Group sponsor and in the music ministry. Nicholas and his wife Julie have three children: Carolyn, a third-year law student at Drake University; Greg Jr., who is attending the University of Missouri – Columbia; and Emily, who is attending Greenville College in Illinois.
